Motivation Monday 4.13.15

motivationmonday

It’s Monday again! Hope everyone had a great week! I am trying my hand at scheduling a few of these Motivation Monday posts and see how that goes.

This week’s motivation comes from Facebook! I have a number of friends on FB who post inspirational pictures on a regular basis.  I did link back to the original source when I could find the links.

The theme this week is to love and care for yourself and also don’t forget to live this life we’ve been given.

Thanks for reading and I hope these find you inspired to continue your week. 🙂

Motivation Monday

I stumbled upon the cutest digital drawings by RoseHill Designs. All graphics in this post are ©Heather Stillfusen.

She also has a store on Etsy where you can buy her designs in prints.

There are so many great sayings on her illustrations. You can buy individual cards for $4.00 each on her Etsy page. I am trying to decide between a few different ones, but I may end up getting all three of them! — Walking inYour Shoes, Courage and Strength, You Can Do It, Life is Tough…decisions, decisions!

Do you have any motivation to share this Monday??

This is not a sponsored post, I found these gems of inspiration on Facebook and decided to share. 🙂

One Little Word ~ 2015

March 15, 2015 | By Heidi | Filed Under: inspiration | Leave a Comment

This is a post that I started on January 12th. I didn’t get very far into it and then life…well, happened.

So here goes…take two. In March….

In 2014 my One Little Word was *SHINE*.  I wrote about it on peargirly.com.

I chose shine in 2014 because I wanted to use 2014 to find myself and use what I had within myself to shine.

I think I succeeded. I definitely stuck with it most of, if not the entire, year.

So we move on to 2015…which is now 3 months in already, however, I chose this word in January so it has been on my mind and in my heart since then.

olw2015grow

*************************************

grow \ˈgrō\

: to spring up and develop to maturity

: to be able to grow in some place or situation

: to become larger : to increase in size, amount, etc.

: to become better or improved in some way : to become more developed, mature, etc.

: to become larger and change from being a child to being an adult as time passes : to pass from childhood to adulthood
synonyms: turn, rise, mature, get, age, originate, develop, become, acquire, experience, produce, raise, advance

**************************************

When thinking about which word I was going to chose for 2015, the word grow instantly came to mind.

I wasn’t sure if grow was a word that I could focus on for the year and be successful in following and ‘growing’ but then I went with my first gut instinct and went with the first word that came to my mind rather than another word I was more comfortable with or that made more sense to me to focus on for the year.

So grow it is for 2015.

In 2015, I want to focus on growing as a person. I want to grow as a woman, a wife, sister, daughter, friend, co-worker, employee, human.

Flowers, the tree of life, and bright colors are going to be my reminders that I am working on growing this year.

Just reflecting on the past couple months, I don’t know how much growing I’ve been able to do, or have done…

However, there are still 9 months left in 2015 for me to work on it.

Have you chosen one little word to focus on in 2015? Please feel free to share in the comments!
