Weighing In 2015

Hello… so, my last post in this series – for lack of a better word – was in November, 2014.

At that point, I had lost over 50 by eating healthier, following Weight Watchers, exercising, and really living healthier.

I could go into 1000 excuses or reasons as to why I stopped. But I won’t.

I am beginning again.

I didn’t gain all the weight back that I had lost. I did gain some back and honestly, right now I don’t know what the number is.

It doesn’t matter what the number is.

All that matters is that I am starting again. Anew.

My journey begins again.

This time, I am planning on also writing my feelings during the week as well as my eating/food/weight watchers part. I think I focused on that moreso last time, and this time I want “weighing in” to mean more than just weighing in at the scale.

I want it to mean weighing in on my self, my emotional state, my well being as well as what the scale says.

It all goes hand in hand, ya know.

My loose plans are:

  • Start back at Weight Watchers – this week we start over. Thursdays will still be my day…and now I have no conflicts to keep me from going and staying for the meetings.
  • Exercise – start walking again! I was so committed to walking on a daily basis and I completely stopped. I need to get back to it.
  • Check out a gym – Doing this soon…hopefully before the month is over.
  • Walk this puppy – he has a lot of puppy energy and needs to learn to behave on a leash and I need to walk. 2 birds, 1 stone.

So that is where I am at. New beginnings… even in the 4th month of the year.

Weekly Weigh In – Weeks 20 – 29

Ok…so been a while since there has been a weigh in update. AND why is this week’s graphic different than the others…Well, I wanted it to be a little special…because…

Drumroll….

I FINALLY GOT TO 50 LBS LOST!!!!

Insert happy dance here!!!!

Total lost to date is actually 51.9 lbs…or

Wow. Whenever I see these graphics from ilostwhat.com I can’t believe I was carrying that weight (and more) around with me every day. Amazing what the human body is capable of.

I did have a few hiccups getting to 50 lbs. I did have a few small gains getting there and a week where I didn’t lose quite enough.

Talk about frustrating!!! Being 0.8 lbs away and losing 0.5 lbs made me want to throw something…but THEN to gain that 0.5 the next week?? UGH.

But….

Here I am on the other side of 50 lbs lost and moving forward.

I follow a lot of people on Instagram who are on program. I think it’s great to follow people on social media who are going through the same thing that you are. It’s a good support system and a number of them post great inspiration and motivational graphics. Sometimes it helps to just browse through your feed and see something that applies to your day. Makes you feel a little better right on the spot.

So…I am still plugging away on program. I’m stepped up my walking and added an extra 2000 steps to my FitBit goal of 6000…I haven’t met the new goal of 8000 yet, but I just set it on Friday, so hopefully I’ll be able to meet it this week while walking on break and lunch at work.

Thanks to everyone who has been following my journey. I appreciate the support.

I do have a few posts I am working on in my brain. I just need to sit down and write them. One is about the clothing issues I’ve been having It’s a long story and a mess. That will be the next post.

In the meantime though, 75 lbs….I’m coming for you!!
