Google has a new social network, wait let me take that back, it’s not a social network. Let me find their wording for what Google+ is…

I think this link http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/introducing-google-project-real-life.html which is from Google will help you understand what it’s all about.

There are a few different videos as well to explain things. I don’ really understand how it all works myself and there aren’t very many people I know on there yet, but the potential is definitely there.

My first thought is that it’s like Facebook without the games. So if games are something you hate about Facebook, maybe you’ll be more comfortable on Google+.

Also, I have not seen a lot of pages…like all of the ridiculous things about Facebook are not on there, so that is definitely another plus. I could see this replacing Facebook, or at least for the people who do not like all of the BS of Facebook.

It’s just real people and drama free…so far. lol

Of course, it’s new and they aren’t letting in a whole lot of people while it’s in Beta. I do have invites and I’m asking people who want them to contact me through Twitter or Facebook to ask for them. I will gladly send them along.

I’ll probably be writing again a little later on about Google+ when I have more people in my circle…whatever that means! LOL

I feel like I just did this! LOL

So yes, I have made yet another new site. My plan is to update this blog as my main blog.

I will also make this my main website with the Joyful Pear Designs as my business site.

If any of that makes sense. LOL

And of course in true Heidi fashion…I started this project in the middle of the night therefore I am going to have to put the finishing touches on it tomorrow (Sunday) and write my first real post then as well.

So please pardon the dust while I get things how I want them!!

Oh, and BTW…I took all of those photos above, all were taken in Michigan too.

I will feature them tomorrow!

Well, the redesign is just about finished. I am putting on the finishing touches right now and may not finish it tonight since it’s almost 3am!

Why I start these projects so late is BEYOND me!

Anyway, I like how it’s turned out. I definitely got out of my comfort zone and went for a nice, bright and colorful layout.
